Joung and older lovers of adventure will enjoy going up the TV Tower – the highest building in Estonia. The Tallinn Botanic Garden, located next to the TV-tower is superb place for walking in fresh air and to enjoy picnic in summer time.
From the Hotel you can easily take a public bus to the city center and you can pay by swipe-card. Travelling between points of interest you can take the Hop-On Hop-Off double decker bus right in front of the Hotel. The ride is free for children under 7.
In the Maritime Museum’s Seaplane Harbour you can try firing a torpedo or hitting flying targets, enter the original “Lembit” submarine and see many other life-size exhibits.
The Energy Discovery Centre is an interactive museum where children can generate electricity, create different sounds, and enjoy a space adventure.
Be sure to visit the Polar Bear World, the newest addition of the Tallinn Zoo. A children’s petting zoo allows smaller domesticated animals to be touched. The Zoo’s aerial adventure park lets kids climb like monkeys. The Zoo also has a large children’s play area and picnic spots.
Various workshops Estonian Open Air Museum enable visitors to test their skills in traditional farm jobs and do some handicraft.
